Shipping and Returns
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 7 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment. Shipments typically arrive within 7 to 14 business days after initial purchase. We currently only ship to the lower 48 contiguous US States. Some shipping restrictions may apply if the shipping address is not accessible by a freight truck. Residential Deliveries and Liftgate:
Since our products are usually shipped via freight, our residential deliveries will require a scheduled delivery time with your local freight terminal so that someone is present to sign for delivery. Details including tracking number and information for getting your drop off scheduled will be emailed to you as soon as your item has been shipped. If you need assistance to contact your local freight terminal, call Tool Chest King at (866) 752-8347 and we will be happy to assist you with that. If your delivery location does not have a forklift or loading dock, you will require a lift gate. If your delivery shows up to the shipping address and a lift gate was not selected, it will be brought back to your local freight terminal and transferred to a lift gate capable truck and be delivered the next business day. Please notice, that most deliveries are curbside only, meaning the delivery driver will drop off your item either in front of the shipping address or at the loading dock. With the heavier items, a hand truck or fork lift may be required to transport your item to your desired location. Certain suppliers offer assistance moving items to a designated location for an additional fee. Please allow 3 to 7 business days to process your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address your provide when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within 7 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at email@example.com. Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damages DO NOT accept delivery. If your item(s) do arrived damaged, be sure to make note of all damages on bill of lading during delivery. Failure to make note of damages or refuse your shipment because of damages makes the consignee responsible for the damaged product. By signing for product, you are confirming it is in perfect condition and that Tool Chest King, the manufacturer and the freight company are relieved of responsibility. Cancellations & Refunds:
If your order has already shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order. There is a $20 cancellation fee if the purchase has already been finalized.
Unfortunately, returns are not easy because tool chests and related items are very heavy. This is the nature of the product. Tool Chest King reserves the right to not accept returns if the customer simply changes their mind. Returns are only accepted for documented, unrepairable problems with the product. This must be done within 30 days of your product purchase and the products must be in their original packaging and the customer must pay for return freight.
Tool Chest King has a 15 day return policy starting from date of purchase. In order to be eligible for our return policy, the product being returned must be in perfect condition with original packaging, and ALL parts including: instructions, warranties, hardware. All returns must be pre-authorized by contacting support at email@example.com. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Once we have processed your return request, we will send you a confirmation number and return instructions including warehouse address where product is to be returned. You will be responsible for shipping costs, including shipping insurance, and a 20% restocking fee. Once the returned item has been received by our warehouse, and the product meets our criteria for returns (perfect condition, original packaging all parts and materials accounted for), we will refund you the cost you paid for the product minus the original shipping costs. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order. Tool Chest King has the right to refuse any return that is damaged, or has missing parts/material or is not in original packaging. Tool Chest King will not be responsible for any damages on product(s) after the original shipment has been accepted and signed for by you (the buyer). Absolutely no returns after 15 days from date of purchase.
